Subject: Out of Adoption Textbooks
Chuck,
Since the new selections have been put on EMAT and the old adoptions are now
dropped off, can districts start sending out the out-of-adoption textbooks to
the charitable organizations?
I have enough out-of-adoption textbooks in my warehouse for at least one
shipment right now.
I plan to collect the bulk of our out-of-adoption textbooks in June but I need
the warehouse space now. I am starting to get in my orders for next school year.
ANSWER
Yes; districts may start sending out the out-of-adoption textbooks to
charitable organizations. However, please make sure that you retain enough
materials to meet your summer school requirements.
Thanks,
Charles
